Assistant Director for Economic Development – Franklin County, Ohio

This individual will provide vision and leadership in planning, directing, managing, and overseeing economic development programs and projects within the County with a specific focus on housing and infrastructure development. As the Assistant Director for Economic Development, the successful candidate will
develop and lead Franklin County’s comprehensive economic development plan and associated programs.

Zoning Administrator – Harrison Township – Dayton, OH

Harrison Township seeks a zoning administrator to perform a variety of supervisory, administrative, and professional work in zoning and property maintenance and enforcement. This position works under the general guidance and direction of the Development Director and exercises supervision over code enforcement staff, either directly or through subordinate supervisors.

RFP for Strategic Workforce Analysis and Economy Recovery Plan Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act

Under the auspices of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the Area 20 Workforce Development Board (“WDB” or “Board”) of Fairfield, Hocking, Pickaway, Ross, and Vinton counties works in partnership with the Chief Elected Officials (CEOs) of those counties to set the workforce policies for the region. Each county has a CEO that comprises the five-person CEO Consortium. Per the Intergovernmental Agreement of the Area 20 WDB, the Fairfield County Economic Development Department serves as the Administrative and Fiscal Agent for the WDB. In its fiscal capacity, the state recognizes these five counties as Area 21 while it is commonly referred to its administrative designation of Area 20. For purposes of this Request for Proposal (RFP), the area will be referred to as Area 20.

This Request for Proposal seeks an interested, highly qualified firm or individual to conduct a comprehensive labor analysis of each county within Area 20, its labor shed, and the training requirements of its in-demand jobs. The contract will be awarded for January 4, 2021 through April 30, 2021. The deadline for proposal submission is November 27, 2020.
