Montrose Group Client One of Four Recipients of JobsOhio Vibrant Community Funding

The Montrose Group is excited to share Rick and Meghan Hogrefe and the city of Sandusky’s selection to receive a $1 million JobsOhio Vibrant Community Grant Program award. In 2019, USA Today recognized the city of Sandusky as America’s “Best Coastal Small Town,” and for good reason. Prioritization by city leadership of revitalizing the downtown business district, a robust locally-owned restaurant and retail scene, and its Lake Erie shoreline location have made the city of Sandusky a true Ohio gem.

Event Brings Small Businesses and Government Buyers Together

Small businesses will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with government buyers at the local, state, and federal level in the virtual 2021 Ohio Business Matchmaker.

The largest small business-to-government contracting event in the state will be conducted in an online format again in 2021 on Nov. 17 and 18.

$1T federal infrastructure bill remains mired for next 6 weeks in U.S. House: The Senate-approved federal infrastructure bill has been in the House since August 10.  Having chosen to couple that measure with the larger so-called American Family Plan’s $3.5T economic policy bill, the House is facing intra-Democratic party divisions in the context of the latter, far larger piece of legislation.
