The City of Willoughby is seeking an exceptional individual for the position of Director of Economic/Community Development. This beautiful suburban community contains such diverse assets as a historic downtown business district, a municipal golf course and a growing economic base. This position will play a vital role in continuing our economic growth into the future.
This is a full time position that will report directly to the Mayor. The successful candidate must possess a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, public administration or related field and 3 or more years of progressive responsible experience in administering governmental programs, planning, public relations or equivalent. Candidates must possess strong leadership, communication (including public speaking) and administrative skills.
