The Economic Development Specialist for the City of Reynoldsburg is a full-time position within the Development Department that supports the City’s economic development efforts through business outreach, administrative coordination, and research support. Working under the direction of the Development Director, this role serves as a primary departmental resource for businesses and the public, maintains development records and business lists, coordinates programs such as Business Retention visits and Build Your Own Business (BYOB) events, and assists with data collection, RFIs, and development-related research. The position also supports key initiatives, including Old Reynoldsburg business strategies, Tax Incentive Review Council (TIRC) and Housing Council coordination, and preparation of materials for City Council, while ensuring compliance with records retention, budgeting, and general office operations. Strong communication, organizational skills, and an interest in economic or community development are central to success in this role.
