Marketing & Engagement Manager, OEDA

February 10, 2026 | Jobs

Ohio Economic Development Association (OEDA)

Remote (Ohio residents only) | $65,000–$75,000

Posting date: February 10, 2026

OEDA is hiring a Marketing & Engagement Manager to lead communications strategy and execution for one of the nation’s top state economic development associations.

This is a high-ownership communications role focused on content, coordination, and engagement. You will manage OEDA’s newsletters, website content, social media, digital storytelling, and outbound member communications, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and well-coordinated across channels. The role does not include event logistics, financial administration, or ownership of core technology systems.

Why OEDA?
We have grown 50 percent in the past year to more than 900 members, making OEDA the third largest state economic development association in the country. Our Annual Summit has set records for attendance, sponsorship, and speakers, and investor support has more than doubled. As OEDA continues to mature operationally, this role is central to how we communicate value, impact, and leadership across Ohio’s economic development community.

What we are looking for:

  • 3 to 5 years of marketing, communications, and stakeholder engagement experience
  • At least 1 to 2 years working within an economic development organization
  • Strong writing, graphic design, and video editing capabilities
  • Experience managing digital content, newsletters, and social media, with LinkedIn as the primary platform
  • Comfort coordinating communications across multiple channels and audiences
  • Ohio resident with a proven ability to work independently in a remote environment

What we offer:

  • Highly flexible, full-time remote schedule
  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonus eligibility
  • Paid time off, paid holidays, and informal comp time during peak periods
  • Health insurance support through a QSEHRA and a retirement plan through a SIMPLE IRA
  • Opportunity to play a visible role in a growing, high-impact statewide organization

For priority consideration, applications are encouraged by February 24, 2026.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
