Mobility Management moves beyond traditional fixed route public transportation services as an innovative approach for managing and delivering a network of diverse transportation services, public and private, to satisfy consumer needs. The assistant director supports and promotes the Center for Regional Development’s (CRD) mission of improving the lives of residents of northwest Ohio through economic and community development. The position assists the Senior Director with both short-term and long-term strategic planning and decision-making by identifying and providing needed information and professional advice. The position also requires implementing the Senior Director’s plans and decisions and/or procuring necessary resources. In doing so, the assistant director coordinates the conception, selection, design and completion and/or delivery of data and analysis, economic impact analysis, local and regional strategic planning, applied research, program evaluation, and other technical assistance projects undertaken by CRD, and is responsible for the implementation, coordination, and management of those activities. The assistant director is solely responsible for carrying out the majority of off campus program evaluation services to communities and social service/nonprofit organizations.
