Position Summary: Provides overall Economic Development direction and support in an assigned region of the AEP service territory. This position is focused on Appalachian Power and Wheeling Power service area of West Virginia.
The City of Mentor is seeking a full-time Economic Development Administrator to promote economic development within the city. Work involves significant communication with current and potential businesses to attract, retain and expand Mentor’s economic development. Applicants must possess a four-year college degree with major course work in marketing, business administration, and considerable experience in economic development or a related activity, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the appropriate skills, knowledge and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position.
