Sharonville Mayor Kevin Hardman has been named American City & County’s 2017 municipal leader of the year. Hardman has served in elected office in Sharonville since 2000, and has been Mayor since 2013.
Under Hardman’s leadership the city has seen a 25% increase in income tax collection-from $21.5 million in 2013 to a projected $27 million in 2017. This is due to numerous projects which have created over 2000+ new jobs since 2013. As an objective benchmark of progressive leadership and fiscal responsibility, the city’s general fund is debt free, a feat few municipalities are able to boast.
