Ohio – Harrison County has been identified as the fastest-growing local economy in Ohio, according to a recent analysis by financial news source Wall St. 24/7. The county recorded a 129.5% gross domestic product growth rate from 2012 to 2015, and a GDP amount of $732.2 million. Manufacturing was found to be the fastest-growing industry.

Dayton Arcade Approval Marks Several “Firsts” for PACE Financing

A redevelopment project that has been more than a decade in the making, the formerly abandoned Dayton Arcade will see new life. Through an innovative Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing structure and the collaboration of many private and public parties, the Arcade will undergo transformational renovation. Once complete, it will house a mix of retail, office space, public space and housing — serving a similar purpose as when it was originally erected in 1902.

It is responsible for ensuring, facilitating, and promoting economic development to achieve a sustainable local economy for the Ravenna community. The position guides companies in establishing, relocating, or expanding their businesses within the Community. It advises, recommends, and collaborates with the City of Ravenna and Ravenna Township to advance economic development in the community.

Senior Business Relationship Manager – Greater Akron Chamber

The Senior Business Relationship Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Economic Development and is responsible for implementing key components related to the Elevate Greater Akron Strategic Plan.  The individual’s primary responsibility will be identifying companies in targeted categories/clusters and developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with individual companies in order to grow capital investment, company revenue, exports and jobs in the Greater Akron Region via targeted business retention and expansion efforts (BRE) with local companies.
