The City of Pickerington, a growing city located within northwestern Fairfield County with a population of approximately 21,000, is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFPs) from a qualified consultant or team (herein referred to as “consultant”) to lead the City in the preparation and adoption of an economic development strategic plan. The City seeks a consultant to perform an assessment and analysis leading to an understanding of what needs to be accomplished to support a healthy business climate, and drive economic development efforts in the City of Pickerington. The plan should provide guidance and serve as a framework for an economic development strategy for several years into the future.

The Board of Directors of the Lake County Ohio Port and Economic Development Authority (The Port) is looking to fill the opening for Executive Director. Lake County, Ohio is located along Lake Erie on the eastern edge of the Cleveland MSA. Lake County is home to 230,000 people and is the 11th most populous county in Ohio. It has a significant presence in the automotive and aerospace supply chains and is home to over 650 manufacturing firms. The ideal candidate would have a familiarity with the workforce issues of manufacturing. The Port’s primary role is to enhance the economic welfare of the community by fostering, aiding, providing or promoting transportation, economic and business development, housing, recreation, governmental operations, culture, research, and education. The Port promotes projects that will provide for the creation of jobs and employment opportunities for the people residing in Lake County.
