Seneca County Ranks 6th Nationally for Economic Development

Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership and the Fostoria Economic Development Corp. announced today that Seneca County has placed No. 6 nationally in Site Selection magazine’s rankings for large, private economic development projects out of the 531 micropolitans in the US for the honor. Site Selection has been annually ranking states and cities since 1978.

Over the years, I’ve had many economic developers tell me about a study or plan they had developed that was never executed. Those reports – ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand pages – are often left forgotten on a shelf or in a drawer and never looked at again. Dayton metro wins first place in national economic development ranking

The Dayton metropolitan area is first among cities of its size for economic development projects, according to a new ranking.

Site Selection magazine released its annual Governor’s Cup rankings on Monday, which listed the Dayton metro as the top region for the fourth time. It also marked the 14th consecutive year the Dayton metro area has ranked in the top 10 for economic development projects.
