Manager, Early Stage Investment Funds – Ohio Department of Development

As the Manager, Early Stage Investment Funds, you will primarily be responsible for the administration of the Ohio Third Frontier Pre-Seed Fund Capitalization Program, the SSBCI Ohio Early Stage Focus Fund, and the SSBCI Ohio Venture Fund. These programs are designed to support Ohio tech-based companies by helping to increase the amount of early-stage capital invested in Ohio technology-based companies, accelerate the growth of high-potential companies, and create a climate that supports the development, retention, and attraction of technology companies in Ohio. The programs provide loans to professionally-managed investment funds, which then invest in early-stage technology companies throughout Ohio.

RFP-Consultants for Turner Road Corridor Redevelopment Strategy & Plan – Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC)

The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) is seeking a qualified firm or team of firms to support economic development planning work within the Dayton, OH region. This work will be funded by an Economic Adjustment Assistance grant through the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA). The work will consist of expanding on a market analysis performed for the entirety of Harrison Township and City of Trotwood in 2023 by creating a Comprehensive Redevelopment Strategy and Plan for the Turner Road Corridor. The original market analysis included a valuation assessment of land use and policy recommendations to support investment of resources for future development within entire boundaries of the two communities. The Turner Road Corridor was selected as the focus area for this RFP to perform a more in-depth redevelopment strategy which will include the desired outcome of a development agreement between Harrison Township, Trotwood and property owners.

Resilience Announces Expansion and Creates New Jobs in West Chester

Resilience US, Inc. (formerly AstraZeneca), announced that it expects to create 274 full-time positions, generating $15 million in new annual payroll and retaining $27.2 million in existing payroll, as a result of its expansion project in West Chester Township. Resilience is a biomanufacturing company specializing in the production of novel medicine. The proposed project includes the renovation of their current facility to operate more effectively for increased production staff to further their goal of implementing efficient manufacturing processes and supply chain solutions to improve access to their pharmaceuticals and therapies.
