The Purpose of this Request for Proposals is to obtain competitive and cost-efficient proposals from qualified individuals or firms interested in carrying out a Comprehensive Plan Update for the City of New Franklin, Ohio. New Franklin first adopted a Comprehensive Plan in 2004. The Comprehensive Plan Update will serve as a guide in considering changes in policy, infrastructure, transportation, zoning and land use planning in the City of New Franklin.

Responsibilities include managing, coordinating, and implementing programs and projects that support the retention and expansion of businesses citywide under the supervision of the Economic Development Director.
The Division Manager of Development is responsible for the programmatic oversight of all economic and community development activities of the City. The Division Manager will work with and manage staff to identify, facilitate and assist business owners/operators with their businesses; to actively pursue economic development opportunities for the City; and to identify job/business opportunities for the City’s residents and business community.
