During a meeting Tuesday, Oct. 5, the City of Tiffin Architectural Board of Review (ABR) approved façade grants for Bailiwicks and Behm & Henry. With these approvals, 100 building projects in Downtown Tiffin have now been approved by the ABR for the Façade Enhancement Program.

The City of Middletown City Council will vote to approve an ordinance authorizing a purchase, sale and development agreement with Main Street Community Capital, LLC for the development of a 1.3-billion-dollar riverfront destination entertainment district and theme park on October 21 after a presentation at the October 5 council meeting from Main Street Community Capital, LLC and their development partners.

Putnam County launched its first state registered pre-apprenticeship program, Trade UP!, on August 25 with ten students in the 2021 cohort. According to Apprentice Ohio, this is only the 7th pre-apprentice program in northwest Ohio, which is comprised of 23 counties.
