Workforce Collaborative Receives Economic Development Award from Mid-America Economic Development Council

The Clinton County Workforce Collaborative (Collaborative) was recognized by the Mid-America Economic Development Council at the 2023 Mid-America Competitiveness Conference, held November 29-December 1, in Indianapolis. The Collaborative received the Workforce & Talent (Large Division) Award in acknowledgement of the rapidity and effectiveness of the projects and initiatives brought forward by the Collaborative’s participating members. The panel of judges especially noted the ability of the Collaborative to mobilize the necessary resources in a rural county.

Economic Development Administrator – City of Dublin, Ohio

Serves as an action-oriented project manager, proactively initiating cutting-edge economic development programs and executing the City of Dublin’s Economic Development strategic plan and supporting the City’s overall vision of being a global city of choice. Builds relationships with the Dublin business community and other regional, state, and international partners to recognize and develop policies and programs that serve as differentiators for the City of Dublin. Administers the City’s Business Retention and Expansion Program organized by Business District.

Fiscal Officer – Village of New Concord

The New Concord Fiscal Officer is responsible for the fiscal management and administration of the Village; serves as Clerk of Village Council; manages HR and benefits administration; is responsible for the Village’s public records including records requests and records retention program; and oversees front office staff including the Utility, Mayor’s Court and Income Tax Clerk positions.

Director of Economic Development – City of Delaware, Ohio

Under the direction of the Assistant City Manager, the Economic Development Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the existing business community, marketing and promoting the City to attract new businesses, supporting the expansion of existing businesses, and vigorously seeking out new businesses for the City. The position has considerable interface with all departments of the City, City Council, and the development and business community. Position requires regular and reliable attendance.
