Business Development Specialist – City of Columbus
Within the Economic Development Division of the City of Columbus Department of Development, the Business Development Specialist has the primary responsibility of working with local businesses and assisting with their expansion efforts, processing financial incentives, and related compliance reporting duties, and communicating issues to senior management. This individuals will interview businesses to ascertain needs for business growth and development, conduct monthly retention and expansion visits with designated companies, visit proposed business expansion sites, visit EZA and JCTC companies to ensure contract compliance and address business needs, conduct annual CRA visits with designated companies and respond to all business inquiries.
