: The primary function of the Deputy Director/Economic Development is to create, implement, and manage the Miami County Economic Development programs and provide additional assistance to the Director, as needed. Secondary functions include management of the Department of Development staff, development of departmental policies and procedures, preparation of annual budget projections and monitoring of actuals against budget.
The Executive Director (ED) oversees the entirety of CCRPC operations and leads the organization on all initiatives of the CCRPC. The ED works with communities within the region, planning and zoning commissions and manages all aspects of the implementation of the RPC’s mission.
Provides support to the Executive Director in matters of administrative operations including oversight and management of operating and personnel budgets within the division, administration responsibilities including monitoring of all activities within the office; assists the Executive Director with special projects as assigned. The position will also coordinate activities with partners signed on to the Center’s operating agreement.
Under administrative direction of the Chief Mobility & Infrastructure Officer and Senior Director of Programming, the Economic Development Director & Regional Innovation Officer is responsible for directing and developing agency economic development and strategic infrastructure programming, leads Central Ohio’s innovation ecosystem, and performs related duties as required.
The Executive Director of the Medina County Convention and Visitors Bureau, located in Medina, Ohio, will work closely with the County’s hospitality and tourism partners to market the area as a premier tourism destination. The Executive Director will be responsible for strategic leadership and direction of the organization as it works to positively impact the area’s economy.
