RFP: Strategic Wireless Infrastructure Management and Deployment

Eastgate is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) for strategic broadband network engineering and deployment to improve broadband access for education, job creation, healthcare, and more in the Target Townships of Mahoning County (collectively the “ConnectMahoning Project”). It is Eastgate’s intent through this RFP for a third-party provider to expand Broadband Infrastructure, as hereinafter defined, to benefit the Target Townships’ residents, businesses, community institutions, government, and overall economic development, and catalyze local innovation.

Senior Research Manager Broadband

The Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service is seeking a flexible, team player who will work with a multidisciplinary team of professional staff, executive consultants, and students to perform project management functions for the program. The Senior Research Manager collaborates with faculty and staff to create, direct, design, and execute internally and externally funded applied research projects/programs including program evaluations and needs assessments and provides direction on research foci of projects and programs to support the development of 5G/Broadband and associated training programs in Southeast Ohio.

Executive Director – Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association (OMEGA)

The Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association (OMEGA) is currently accepting resumes for a new Executive Director. OMEGA serves ten counties (Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Muskingum, and Tuscarawas Counties)
in the eastern Appalachian region of Ohio and is a Local Development District as recognized by the Appalachian Regional Commission, an Economic Development District as recognized by the Economic Development Administration, and a Regional Transportation Planning
Organization for eight of the ten counties as designated by the Governor of Ohio.

North Central Electric Cooperative: The Key Accounts and Economic Development Specialist will assist in developing and coordinating the Cooperative’s Key Account programs to maximize the opportunities available for mutually successful business relationships.

As the economic development agents for Pickaway County and its municipalities, The Pickaway County Port Authority (PCPA) and Pickaway Progress Partnership (P3) have three main objectives: promote and market the advantages of locating business in the county; promote a stronger business environment by facilitating retention and expansion efforts of local employers; and deliver a seamless network of economic development services and value-added programs to existing businesses, local government, and prospective companies throughout Pickaway County.
