Redevelopment Director – Town of Clarksville, Indiana

Known as the “Oldest American Settlement in the Northwest Territory,” historic Clarksville, Indiana, is home to over 20,000 residents and 600 businesses. The Town covers almost 10 square miles and is located along the Ohio River between Jeffersonville and New Albany, on the “sunny side” of Louisville, Kentucky, in Clark County.

Clarksville seeks an outgoing, creative, and visionary leader with the experience and skills as its next Redevelopment Director to help it realize its vision for continued sustainable growth and development. The position will work on both redevelopment initiatives and greenfield projects, adapt easily to change, and must be comfortable with operating in an evolving development environment while balancing and advancing multiple projects at once.

Economic Development Administrator – Butler County, Ohio

Under direction of the Director of Development, provides strategic leadership and prioritizes activities which improve the business development climate of the County; coordinates the County’s economic development efforts, including maintaining mutually beneficial relationships and communication with economic development and planning officials with the local jurisdictions of the County; attracting new business and employers; identifying sites for possible development; maintaining high visibility for potential businesses; researches and prepares economic development reports, cost-benefit analyses, and other evaluations to assess value-producing metrics for economic development projects. Serves as director of Butler County Port Authority and Butler County Land Reutilization Corporation (Land Bank).

Projects Coordinator – The Area Development Foundation, Inc. – Mount Vernon, Knox County, Ohio

Under the general supervision of the President, the Projects Coordinator provides a high-level of detail-oriented administrative direction and support to the Foundation. This position exercises judgment and discretion across many facets of the Foundation to keep the organization running soundly and smoothly in completing its various tasks, including those involving real estate acquisition and disposition, business expansion and recruitment, public relations, and community planning and economic development.

Firelands Forward Director – Sandusky, Ohio

he Firelands Forward Director will be a visionary, dynamic leader who can grow and lead this new workforce development collaborative. The Director acts as the public ambassador for Firelands Forward and is responsible for facilitating the collective success of the regional effort. Specifically, the Director will drive the internal and external functions of the initiative, including strategy, communications, community engagement, and fundraising functions. The Director reports to the Executive Director of the Erie County Economic Development Corporation, host organization of the workforce development collaborative.
