The economic recovery program coordinator supports and promotes the Center for Regional Development’s (CRD) mission of improving the lives of residents of northwest Ohio through economic and community development. The position assists the Senior Director and Assistant Director by implementing CRD’s scope of work related to its Economic Development Administration (EDA) CARES Act grant including providing technical assistance, applied research, economic planning facilitation, and grant-writing support to communities across a 27-county region in northwest Ohio. Under the direction of the Senior Director, the economic development recovery coordinator will develop a suite of services and tools to assist communities recover from economic shocks and develop resiliency against future economic disruptions.

The selected candidate will report directly to the Economic Development Planner and be primarily responsible for administering the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Recovery Assistance grant for the NEFCO region. The grant-funded position is initially being offered as an employment contract through June 30, 2022, with the potential for additional employment, depending on available resources.
