Fortune factors in data like affordability, walkability, and a community’s well-being or connectedness where people can easily link to resources in neighboring towns and surrounding areas.

$1.5 Billion was included for public infrastructure spending to encourage economic development projects across the state of Ohio through the recently enacted state operating budget. These state programs include supporting the development of mega-sites tied to large scale industrial growth, funding critical water and sewer infrastructure, and supporting the development of other public infrastructure.

(UCI) gathered various stakeholders to help envision ways to improve mobility, transportation connectivity and access in and around the MLK and Reading Road intersection. The visionary and stimulating session included Uptown residents and employers, project developers, team members of Cincinnati City Council, representatives of The Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana-Regional Council of Governments (OKI) and transportation experts, among others.
