In November, Barberton Community Foundation purchased the former B&P Polishing property located at 401 Newell Street in Barberton, Ohio. The long-vacant, 36-acre site will be redeveloped for industrial use and several prospects have been identified, with a local company already claiming 15 of those acres for expansion.
The Pickle Lodge, the second-largest indoor pickleball facility in the country, is coming to West Chester Township. The facility, housed in the building previously occupied by Court Yard Sportsplex on Kingsgate Way, will feature a cushioned playing surface, state-of-the-art LED lighting, a bar, restaurant, and a group event space designed for corporate and/or other events.

The foundation of that training is our Basic Economic Development Course (Ohio BEDC). This year’s course will be held from May 1-4 in Dublin, Ohio, and Early Bird Registration is open from now until March 1.
(Wilmington, Ohio) The Clinton County Workforce Collaborative hosted its first meeting of the year on Thursday, January 19. With almost 40 individuals present, representing schools, businesses, service providers, and community organizations, members reviewed accomplishments from 2022, established a new meeting structure for 2023, and discussed how their current efforts can continue to meet the needs of the local community.
