MHC RoadReady Center Announces Expansion, New Jobs in Ross County

Chillicothe, Ohio:  –– Murphy Hoffman Company (MHC), also known as Chillicothe Kenworth, in collaboration with JobsOhio, Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE), and Greater Chillicothe & Ross County Development today announced an investment of over $1.4 million in Ross County, creating 119 new jobs. The expansion is being supported by a tax credit from the Ohio Department of Development and a $250,000 JobsOhio Grant.

Educator Boot Camp connects Fostoria teachers with local manufacturers

FOSTORIA, Ohio — A few area educators are ending their summer break with the Educators Boot Camp in, which aims to connect local educators with area manufacturers.

The pilot program, through Lt. Governor Jon Husted’s office, gives teachers a better understanding of what the manufacturers offer and what they need in future employees.
