It sure has been a while… We are so excited to be back as the 2021 Annual Summit returns to an in-person event this year!
This 2021 Annual Summit is designed to help you re-connect and re-energize while making sure you have the information you need to achieve success in your community.
This year’s conference is built around two days of general sessions and multiple networking opportunities. It ends with a celebration of Ohio’s economic and workforce development community at the 2021 Excellence Awards. Stay tuned for more details; the final schedule will be released later this month.

COVID-19 Protocol: OEDA will follow CDC, state, and local guidelines, as well as facility-specific COVID-19 policies, for any in-person events to ensure the safety of all participants. The association will continue to monitor and assess the COVID-19 situation and make adjustments to our protocols. Final guidance related to COVID-19 and attending the 2021 Annual Conference will be issued this fall.
About three months ago, we launched our Recovery Within Reach campaign, a first-of-its-kind effort to educate Ohioans about the financial effects of opioid addiction — and to connect them with treatment options close to their homes.
Our goal is to create a new way of talking about addiction, one in which people consider the facts and practical realities of how substance use disorder affects their lives. Not long ago, Gov. Mike DeWine challenged all of us in state government to think of ways we could help Ohioans navigate the opioid crisis that has affected our state for so long. For us, that meant considering the financial effects of addiction — and providing tools and trainings to help Ohioans and financial advisers talk about addiction and access care.read more
