The Columbus Region is a dynamic 11-county metropolitan area in the midst of unprecedented economic growth.  Centrally located between Chicago and New York, the Columbus Region boasts the greatest market access of any major metro—with 45% of the United States population within a 10-hour drive.  The region is home to today’s business leaders and is at the forefront of the industries of tomorrow, from advanced manufacturing to smart mobility research and development.

The Columbus Partnership is a non-profit organization of CEOs from Columbus’ leading businesses and institutions.

In 2010, Columbus leaders started a journey to transform economic development in Central Ohio. The Columbus Partnership commissioned an assessment that benchmarked the Columbus Region against peer communities throughout the United States. The Partnership also led the collection of input from more than 1,500 individuals representing large corporations, small businesses, government officials, young professionals, and civic organizations.  This community-wide collaboration of both people and resources resulted in the creation of an aggressive new economic development strategy and organization called Columbus 2020.  Now known as One Columbus, the public-private partnership is recognized as one of the top economic development groups in the country.

The experienced team has worked with hundreds of companies and helped to secure over $10 billion of capital investment, over 50,000 direct jobs, and more than $2 billion of new payroll across the Columbus Region.
