Windy City Blown Away By Toledo

Toledo might be seeing increased traffic coming out of Chicago following their newspaper’s amazing review of the Glass City.

Writing for the Chicago Tribune, travel writer Alan Solomon highlighted numerous attractions and restaurants in Toledo during his three-day visit here in August. Like many before, Solomon respectfully describes his surprise at the level of prominence for some sights, particularly the Toledo Museum of Art. He also captures an awareness among many that Toledo’s resurgence is real.

City of Middletown Featured in Starbucks Online Film Series

Middletown, OH (October 11, 2017) — Middletown resident and business owner Ami Vitori is featured in an episode of the newly released Starbucks Upstanders: Season 2.

Venture Plastics Receives Abatement for $3 Million Expansion

Both Trumbull County Commissioners and Braceville Township Trustees approved at their respective meetings this morning and Tuesday evening a 10-year, 60 percent enterprise zone abatement of real estate taxes—as presented by the Trumbull County Planning Commission—for a nearly $3 million expansion project at Venture Plastics, located at 4000 Warren-Ravenna Road.

The custom injection molding services company—in business since 1969—is growing to accommodate customer demand. The project will result in eight new jobs, 110 retained jobs and 17,000 square feet of additional space.
