To extend a helping hand to small businesses suffering from the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation – in partnership with Vistaprint and a coalition of supporting companies, foundations, and philanthropic donors – is working to provide financial relief through the “Save Small Business Fund”.
(WILMINGTON, OHIO) Around the country, aircraft are being temporarily parked as demand for passenger air travel decreases. The Wilmington Air Park, as a facility that can accommodate large aircraft arrivals and departures, is able to offer temporary space for parking of those aircraft.
The Ohio Economic Development Association is committed to helping its members during this challenging time. OEDA wants to ensure members have access to the association’s services and programs during the COVID-19 crisis. As such, the Board of Directors adopted a resolution that extends the membership grace period to May 30 to ensure members do not lose access to important information, education and training, legislative and policy updates, special members-only programs and pricing, and complimentary webinars.
This position requires a flexible, team player who will assist faculty, professional staff, and students with technical assistance, applied research, data compilation/analysis, project administration, oral presentations, and report writing in the area of community and economic development. Position will directly apply knowledge of local and state economic development policies and tools specific to OH. As such, the position requires a familiarity and experience with Port Authorities, Special Improvement Districts, Joint Economic Development Districts, tax abatement/credit programs, enterprise bond funds, grant programs, and other tools available to support economic development efforts in OH.
