The Worthington Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) is seeking requests for proposal from qualified real estate developers, employers, consultants, or professional organizations specializing in real estate development, for the redevelopment of ~3.25 acres along the south side of E. Wilson Bridge Road. Successful proposals should incorporate relevant data about current and future real estate needs in the Worthington area, community demographics and economic data, the City’s capacity for additional commercial or residential growth, and specific plans for the revitalization of the site. Proposals shall also set forth specific land uses, conceptual site plans, and overall community and economic impact.
Under the direction of the Department Director, facilitates and collaborates economic development related activities as it relates to business retention and recruitment, business development, economic development finance, and small business programming. Provides business assistance and technical support for the expansion, recruitment, and retention needs of large and small local businesses.

The City of Painesville, OH (pop. 20,360) is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Economic Development Director. This position is integral to the development of Painesville and works closely with the City Manager to facilitate residential, commercial and industrial development using a strategic approach. The position is responsible for planning, coordinating and tracking all economic development activities within the City. Includes carrying out community business promotions, site marketing, and business attraction/retention activities. Responsible for complex economic development duties related to the implementation of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, Downtown Master Plan and Economic Development Strategy.
