The Jefferson County Port Authority is seeking an Executive Director. Successful candidate must have experience in all facets of executive leadership and management, and will be responsible for stimulating, facilitating, coordinating, and marketing economic development activities and forging productive relationships between public/private sector interests of Jefferson County and the Tri State area.
The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce/Irving Economic Development Partnership (Partnership) promotes the growth and expansion of business in Irving Texas, an international community that is home to more than 200,000 residents and 8,500 businesses – including ten Fortune 1000 companies. Because of its sustained success in marketing Irving-Las Colinas as a premier location for doing business, the average pipeline is about 40 active projects, including domestic and international recruitment and retention/expansion projects.

The Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission (OVRDC) is requesting proposals from experienced firms, groups, or individuals to perform brownfield recovery coordinator duties in Lawrence and Scioto Counties in Ohio. This is a contract-based position and the selected contractor shall be responsible for all expenses incurred while performing services. Compensation which shall include related expenses will be negotiated but will include consideration for experience.
This position requires a flexible, team player who will assist faculty, professional staff, and students with technical assistance, applied research, data compilation/analysis, project administration, oral presentations, and report writing in the area of community and economic development. Position will directly apply knowledge of local and state economic development policies and tools specific to OH. As such, the position requires a familiarity and experience with Port Authorities, Special Improvement Districts, Joint Economic Development Districts, tax abatement/credit programs, enterprise bond funds, grant programs, and other tools available to support economic development efforts in OH.
