Seneca County Ranks 6th Nationally for Economic Development

Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership and the Fostoria Economic Development Corp. announced today that Seneca County has placed No. 6 nationally in Site Selection magazine’s rankings for large, private economic development projects out of the 531 micropolitans in the US for the honor. Site Selection has been annually ranking states and cities since 1978.

Dayton metro wins first place in national economic development ranking

The Dayton metropolitan area is first among cities of its size for economic development projects, according to a new ranking.

Site Selection magazine released its annual Governor’s Cup rankings on Monday, which listed the Dayton metro as the top region for the fourth time. It also marked the 14th consecutive year the Dayton metro area has ranked in the top 10 for economic development projects.

April Event Brings Small Businesses and Government Buyers Together

Small businesses will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with government buyers at the local, state and federal level in April at the 2020 Ohio Business Matchmaker.

The largest small business-to-government contracting event in the state will kick off with a networking reception Tuesday, April 28, at Wright State University’s Nutter Center, 3640 Colonel Glenn Highway, Dayton, Ohio 45324. The Ohio Business Matchmaker’s main “matchmaking” event will take place Wednesday, April 29.
