Development Manager for Community, Entrepreneurship, and Rural Development – Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership
The Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership (TSEP announced today that it has opened up the search for a Development Manager for Community, Entrepreneurship, and Rural Development to join one of the most dynamic and successful economic development organizations in the country.
The Organization: Our nonprofit was established in 1983 and specializes in facilitating economic, downtown, and community development projects in Tiffin and Seneca County, Ohio. That’s our mission. We work on hundreds of projects and initiatives which directly impact the lives of almost 60,000 people. We’re proud that we have been a community that has ranked in the top ten nationally for economic development three of the last five years (out of more than 500).
Position: The position is an existing, permanent, full-time, salaried position with a starting salary between $33,000 and $43,000, depending on qualifications and experience, and a full package of benefits. The Development Manager will focus on managing and leading several Community Development, Entrepreneurship, and Rural Development. The Development Manager will also manage the paperwork and process connected with several programs, as well as assist with social media and communications.
The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be personable, professional, a self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to handle a significant number of projects and tasks at the same time. That candidate will also be a quick learner, have good oral and written communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Familiarization and skill with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel) highly desired; familiarization with Adobe products (e.g., Acrobat, Photoshop), Constant Contact, social media and/or salesforce.com a plus. High school diploma is required.
