The foundation of that training is our Basic Economic Development Course (Ohio BEDC). This year’s course will be held from May 1-4, 2023 in Dublin, Ohio, and Early Bird Registration is open from now until March 1.
The Basic Course is a can’t-miss education opportunity for those who are new to the profession, have new economic development responsibilities, or will be an economic development decision maker as an elected or appointed official. Taught by experienced professionals in the field, the Basic Course covers topics ranging from Business Retention & Expansion to Community Preparedness to Neighborhood Development, to name a few.
