Learn from the Best at Upcoming 2021 Site Selection Course
With the completion of the OEDI Real Estate Course, the next course is the OEDI Site Selection and Site Development Course. The course covers both the Site Development process — how to ensure that your sites have adequate infrastructure and are ready for use —- and the Site Selection process — best practices in working with site selectors to present their community and sites.
The instructor for the course is Christine Nelson Vice President for Project Management, Site Strategies and Talent at TeamNEO, the Regional Economic Development Organization for Northeast Ohio. Christine comes to the course with more than 20 years on the front lines in economic and community development with experience at the city, county and regional levels. Christine developed the course with OEDI in 2017 and has taught the Course each year since then. The course will also include presentations from experienced practitioners at the local, state and national levels, along with resource partners from JobsOhio, utilities and development.
