Division Manager – Development – City of Dayton

The Division Manager of Development is responsible for the programmatic oversight of all economic and community development activities of the City. The Division Manager will work with and manage staff to identify, facilitate and assist business owners/operators with their businesses; to actively pursue economic development opportunities for the City; and to identify job/business opportunities for the City’s residents and business community.

Under the general direction of the Mayor, serves as the City’s economic development administrator by promoting business and economic development interests within the community. Works with all departments in providing guidance to individuals and companies to establish, relocate, or expand their businesses. Plans and coordinates community development projects; promotes the city’s economic development opportunities; and conducts research for potential projects.

Community Development Director – City of Moraine

The City of Moraine is looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in community and economic development to fill the full-time position of Community Development Director.  The position provides general staff oversight and budget management of the Community Development Department which includes the offices of the Building & Zoning Administrator, City Engineer and City Planner.
