Community Development Administrator – The City of Green

The City of Green is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join our Planning team. The successful candidate, under the direction of the Director of Planning, will develop and maintain City economic development programs; assist with marketing of the city; conduct research and analysis as needed to enhance economic development activities and programs; work with established boards, committees, and agencies; coordinate confidential matters with potential commercial developments; advise and assist business and industry; and make policy recommendations. This position focuses on Economic Development assistance and outreach to new and existing businesses .and administration of current incentive programs.

Economic Development Coordinator – Fairfield County Economic and Workforce Development

Help Central Ohio grow with this new position at Fairfield County Economic and Workforce Development. This position will serve as the main point of contact between developers and county departments to help ensure a smooth process with developments. The position will also respond to development leads from regional and statewide economic development partners to help bring new companies and jobs to Fairfield County. This individual will help identify properties for growth in the county and develop plans with utility and transportation partners to make these properties shovel ready. Position is based in Carroll, Ohio, just 25 minutes from downtown Columbus, and some remote work would be available.

OMEGA RFPs

OMEGA invites any firms, individuals, or groups to review and respond to the following Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for consulting services.  The RFPs are a critical component of the Resilience Initiative for Southeastern and Eastern Ohio (RISE Ohio), which contains Opportunity Zone planning and development strategies as a key program area. 

RFQ for E. 185th St. Euclid-Cleveland sites

The City of Euclid and Greater Collinwood Development Corporation seek proposals for a market analysis and community planning process for a site of cleared, currently vacant land on the unique East 185th Street commercial corridor, spanning the full blocks on either side of E. 185th Street between Pasnow and Naumann Avenues and Canterbury and Rosecliff. The Euclid portion of the site is comprised of 5 parcels, varying in size and totaling 1.382 acres, presently within the City of Euclid’s ownership. The Cleveland portion of the site includes 4 primary parcels (1 ancillary), four of which are controlled by the City of Cleveland or by GCDC, and 1 is being held by a private owner. The Cleveland/GCDC sites total 1.473 acres.
