PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the commercial revitalization effort is to develop and implement a strategy for economic development and historic preservation in the downtown business-district. This position is hired by and reports to the Main Street Delaware Board of Directors.

The City of Dublin is implementing a Micro-Mobility Demonstration Pilot introducing electric-powered Bird scooters to the City. Phase 1 will make scooters available south from Interstate 270 to Tuttle Crossing Boulevard and west from Sawmill Road to Interstate 270. This area includes both Historic Dublin and Bridge Park.

In March 2020, KEMBA revealed the design for its new state-of-the-art, 147,000 square-foot, eight-story Class A corporate headquarters adjacent to its existing Union Centre facility. Schumacher Dugan Construction Company has completed construction and KEMBA Credit Union employees will soon occupy the tallest building in West Chester Township.

The City of Dublin is pleased to announce that Jennifer Klus Ekey has accepted the position of Director of Economic Development effective April 27. Ms. Klus Ekey has worked in the economic and workforce development fields for 25 years and most recently led economic development efforts for the Clinton County Port Authority, which includes the Wilmington AirPark, the highest volume cargo airport in Ohio, as well as the City of Wilmington, Ohio. In 2010, she was named to Cincinnati Business Courier’s “Forty under 40” and in 2019 was named OEDA Economic Development Professional of the Year.
