GIS Manager – City of Lancaster

This is a highly technical position which designs, develops, programs and maintains enterprise Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases, services, spatial data, applications and interfaces to various systems on a client/server platform. The GIS Manager is the senior GIS professional and is charged with the responsibility of directing the continued GIS development for the City of Lancaster.  The GIS Manager is the chairperson of all GIS Committees. 

Planner – City of Lancaster

The planner will work as a liaison to implement a planning-forward mindset and practices within the city and will serve as the main point of contact for the Administration and Council regarding future developments.  The planner will work with the other departments to establish a regular process for review and approval of rezoning applications, participate in review of subdivisions, and initiate a long-range Comprehensive Plan for the city. 

Four Requests for Proposals Now Available!

OMEGA invites any firms, individuals, or groups to review and respond to the following Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for consulting services within our 10-county region.  The RFPs support two important program areas within OMEGA: 1) RISE Ohio – an initiative primarily funded by the U.S. Economic Development Administration, with support from JobsOhio, that largely focuses on Opportunity Zone planning; and 2) local planning and project development assistance, made possible by a U.S. EDA planning grant to the State of Ohio.

RFP for Project Planning and Development Consultant – OVRDC

The Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission (OVRDC) is requesting proposals from experienced individuals, groups, or firms to perform Project Planning and Development Consultant duties in the 12-county OVRDC region in southern Ohio. This is a contract-based position, and the selected contractor shall be responsible for all expenses incurred while performing services. The total compensation fee, which shall include all related expenses to be paid by consultant, may be negotiated but will include consideration for experience. This project and RFP are supported by American Rescue Plan Act funding from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) through the Ohio Department of Development.

Development Manager – The City of Piqua

The City of Piqua is seeking a Development Manager who will perform complex professional work researching, administering and applying for grant funds for special projects.  This position will also create and direct community activities; Administer State economic development programs; Communicate with public and private funders to ensure adherence to program rules and regulations; Create and administering community engagement programs; Provide research and technical assistance to other departments related to grant preparation.
